Top 10 Motivational Images For Fitness Motivation

By Marc Perry / February 20, 2016

Motivation is the energy which powers our most impressive accomplishments and achievements. The challenge, however, is that motivation ebbs and flows. Sometimes you may feel limitless motivation as you strive toward your goals like nothing in the natural world can stop you. Other times, you may feel your motivation waning over time as hurdles and obstacles grow larger and more intimidating.

Every Monday on our BuiltLean Facebook Page (#MondayMotivation), we share motivation images to help you stay focused and push toward your goals. The following are 10 motivational images we have shared with our Facebook community that are organized into three sections. The first section is mastering your mindset. If you have the right mindset, everything seems to fall into place and it’s only a matter of time before you reach your goals. The next section highlights the importance of developing a plan to help focus your energies so they yield the best results. And the last section highlights refining your plan while focusing your energies on what you can control.

We hope you find these images motivational and you will reference them when you experience any challenges, or self-doubt:

5 Stars--but I can't figure out how to rate or star the article. Loved the Bruce Lee "It's not the daily increase. It's the daily decrease...". So appropriate for all areas of personal growth. Thanks.

I like Kim Lyons' quote the best. Sums it all up.

  • Ananda says:

I love all the images/ sayings except for #10. Unfortunately for some people with physical disabilities it is out of their control how much they move their bodies.

    • Kristin Rooke, CPT says:

      Hi Ananda,

I'm glad that you enjoyed most of the inspirational quotes!

There are certainly a number of challenges that can affect how active people can be. That being said, there are also some pretty incredible people who have overcome a lot of these challenges to live fit & active lives. One incredible and inspiring group is I Am Adaptive, which is a group for adaptive athletes: http://iamadaptive.com/. I found out about this group through a pretty amazing athlete named Chris Ruden who was born with seven fingers (only two on his left hand), and a shorter left arm. As a teenager, he made it his mission to become lean & strong, found a passion in powerlifting, and has since set numerous powerlifting records in Texas.

Of course, there are certain physical disabilities that make activity harder than others, but I also think there are so many groups, resources, and innovations today that make many things that were once thought impossible, very achievable.
