Highlights Kellen’s passion for fitness started with the bodybuilding approach, which he credits for his muscular physique. But it evolved into free movement and functional training, which keeps him lean, strong, and flexible. He follows a paleo diet and practices intermittent fasting, but isn’t rigid about his nutrition. Paleo provides the foundation, and he individualized his approach according to what he’s found works for him. Water, alcohol, and coffee all have a place in his life, but he’s smart about his intake of all of those beverages. Water is the standard. While Kellen isn’t rigid about his diet or training routine, he’s pretty structured about his sleep habits. Sleep is instrumental in staying healthy. By incorporating more movement, and a variety of movements, staying flexible has come naturally. That being said, acupressure mats are a game-changer.
